Bai Tu Long National ParkBai Tu Long National Park located in Quang Ninh province was established on the 1st June 2001 succeeding from former Ba Mun Conservation Park. This is one in seven national   on the basis of class expanded and moved from Park Nature Ba Mun. This is one of seven national parks in Vietnam has an area of ​​land has an area of ​​sea.

Bai Tu Long National Park is located in Bai Tu Long Bay, next to the World Natural Heritage Halong Bay. From legend to history or reality, Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long are proven to be a unified whole with many striking historical, cultural and natural values.

Simultaneously, the advantages of geographical location, topography and geomorphology have contributed to create for the National Park racy values, where retains typical characteristics of sea-island ecosystem of the Northeast and wild environment, natural landscapes attractive to visitors. These are the potential and advantages for the development of ecotourism to support conservation activities and improve livelihoods of people living in the core and buffer zones of the Park.

If Ha Long Bay is regarded as a gorgeous girl, Bai Tu Long Bay is as a lovely, charming and secretly wanted girl. Located in the Northeast, 200 km from Hanoi, Bai Tu Long Bay together with Ha Long Bay became one of the natural wonders of the world. This place also imprinted Ha Long culture of thousands of years ago and also preserved quite intact the pure of a pristine island.

Legend has it that: When the ancient Vietnamese people established their country, the country was promptly invaded. The Jade Emperor sent Mother Dragon bringing her Child Dragons to land down to help fight the enemy. Invaders’ boats were rushing to the sea shore, just at the moment the dragons landed down on earth. Dragons immediately injected numerous pearls and swiftly turned into thousands of rock islands on sea, forming a solid wall suddenly block the advance of enemy’s boats. The suddenly blocked boats crashed into the rock islands or to each others and shattered.

After the victory, Mother Dragon and Child Dragons did not return to heaven but stay in the earth, where the battle took place. The location Mother Dragon landed is called Ha Long and Child Dragons descended is now Bai Tu Long. Dragon tail lashed water white is Long Vi (presently Tra Co peninsula) with long fine sand beach stretching over ten kilometers.

Bai Tu Long Bay has hundreds of mountains, islands bobbing on the water with hundreds of kilometers of coastal line with fine white sand beaches in Minh Chau, Quan Lan, Ngoc Vung, running dozens of kilometers.

By traveling to Bai Tu Long, you have chance to access to a stress of  marine ecological population just 60 km or 1.5hour of high-speed cruise from Bai Chay beach. Here, you shall be amazed at the 2 km long white sand, blue water and a clean space. Landscape of the island still retains its pristine appearance and character of pristine nature. Coming here, you shall be treated with taste of specialties such as garrupa, black king fish still swimming inside cages in the water. With only garrupa, villagers may create up to 12 different dishes such as fried, steamed, grilled, fried fish bowel and skin and best eaten raw fish with mustard. Soil dragon, elephant clam and sea crab called Cu Ky are also memorable dishes adding to attraction for your exciting journey of a tourism destination awaiting to be weakened.
